Dammit, Ariadne. Why do I suddenly feel like the bad guy for worrying about you?

Not the bad guy. Just overbearing.
I want you to come to Rome, but you gotta promise not to treat me like a child.

Overbearing? Not to mention when have I ever treated you like a child?

You're a good friend, Arthur. A good point man.
Are you coming to Rome, or not?

A job, of course. You should've seen the look on Eva's face when I said I'd ask if you wanted to help us out.

I more meant between you and I, though not everyone appreciates my thoroughness and abilities.

I'd say that's a conversation to have in person, once this job is over.

How long are you there? I've got a meeting with an extractor tomorrow.

Not more than five days.

Let me see what's going on with this extractor. She's not entirely on the up and up, even for our work.

All right. Either way - I'll be back in Paris by Monday. If you want to talk.

Let me see what happens. With Dom mostly retired, finding a new extractor to work with hasn't been easy.

So you've said.
Go freelance.
Or choose Eva. She's pretty.

I'm not great with freelance. I like the repertoire of a partner.
Pretty has little to do with ability. Marlene is pretty but that doesn't mean I won't regret even meeting with her.

Maybe. Maybe it's not an extractor you should be looking for, though.
I don't think you'd regret meeting Eva.

Ariadne, I'm not going to find the right jobs by sitting back and not trying. Same with a team.

Come to Rome.

What's this Eva's last name? What does she do? Rome her home base?

I don't know her last name, she's an extractor, she is Italian but says she's done work all over Europe, and Eames introduced us.

You went off to Rome on a lead from Eames, of all people? With no research of your own on her?
