Eames is careful, almost too still apart from the slight sway of his body, like he's keeping himself so rigid, so straight and yet he still can't quite hide how much he's put away. He keeps his expression blank, eyes a little too disinterested, hands at his side, not fidgeting, not moving like he usually is.
"Thank you for clearing that up for me, Arthur. I promise it won't happen again," he replies flatly, looking across the street when someone laughs, "You won't have to deal with it again."
The way he says it is so final, like it's complete fact, like there wouldn't ever be any other time when he would.
