He had thought about this for days as he made the plans for Vegas. So in between talking to old friends and older enemies, he had put things in place. Then he had left the box on Ariadne's bed.

Inside was a Canon Rebel digital camera, charged and loaded. Beneath it was a note.

Soon we leave Paris. One day we'll come back but this is where we met, where it began. Today is for you and I. All the landmarks, the cafes, anything and everything. I want to commemorate it all. You're the first person in my life I've truly wanted to make memories with.

Then, dressed in jeans and a yellow tee, he waited for her to find him in his room.

He waited, thinking. About Ariadne. About the day, the life they had started. He hadn't remembered being this happy ever in his life. It was a terrifying prospect, and one he couldn't be happier for. Especially when he walked back in looking fresh and sweet and beautiful.

Not hesitating, he pulled her onto his lap. "Your ass. Your legs. The way you smile. Those gorgeous, expressive eyes. I love all of it, all of you." He held her close, kissing Ariadne slow and deep as he hummed softly. "As for your obsession with my ass, trust you and your cohort are not even subtle."

"You tend to leave me speechless. You're aware of the fact, right?" She asked, running her thumb along his scruff, smiling.

"I can't help, that me and my partner in crime. Have a lot to agree upon. You need to stop making it, so damn easy for us." Teasing, wiggling in his lap some. She let out a dramatic sigh. "You realize I'm going to ware you out today, right?"

"I do try," he admitted, stroking the length of her spine. "I like knowing I can do that to you. Hope I always can." There were a lot of things he hoped they would always have, prayed they could share.

"By what? Standing about? Should I change out of the jeans," he asked, smirking. "Would that make it ea..." He waggled his eyebrows. "Wear me out how?"

"I'm fairly positive, you will always have this effect on me." She said, crinkling her nose with a small smile. Contently happy. Which seemed to be a common thing now, with him around.

Ariadne shook her head, letting a small laugh out. "Suppose you can't help it. Being all whatever you are." She teased, as she peppered small kisses around his mouth. "I was meaning by, staying busy site seeing. But now..." She sighed, letting a small giggle out.

"Oh good. Just to be sure though, I won't stop trying and working hard to see you smile. Least I can do."

He gave back every kiss he got, loving the teasing and play between them. "Nope. We have plenty of time for that later. First the city. Museums and architecture and asking strange french men to take our picture and pretending neither of us speak french," he teased.

With a small shrug, she laughed, rolling off of him. "Well times a wasting." She said, offering her hand out to pull him up. "Because, I've been dying to take someone to Pont Neuf, for months now. But I had no real reason. So yeah."

"I really get to play, cheesy tourist, don't I?" She beamed at that, raising her brow some in thought. "You know, I might just embarrass you, out of shear enjoyment."

Taking her hand, he pulled himself to his feet. "Have you now? Just anyone? Is there a legend about it and lovers? I'm curious now," he teased, pulling her to him.

"Wait, so uhmmm, there should be rules,' he said suddenly, moving for the door and pulling her with him. "Nope. No rules. You can do your worst, my love. And I will love you more."

Quickly grabbing her camera and coat, she crinkled her nose laughing. "It's one of the oldest stone bridges in Paris. That alone is amazing to me. And only wanted to take you. You would appreciate it, I figured." She finished, grabbing her house keys, giggling them towards him with a smile. "In case, I throw you into Seine and you lose yours."

"And Arthur, don't leave such an opening for me. You might be scared what, I'll do" She teased, opening the door for him. "Now move."

"Only me. See, I like the sound of that," he admitted, arching a brow at the keys. "Okay, see... Wet denim isn't fun and do you really want to discourage me from wearing them again," he asked, giving her a look.

"Just remember, I know how to distract you and I'm better than anyone at finding dark, out of the way places."

Locking the door behind him, as they leave. She just nudges him with her hip. "I'm not worried about this." She teased, giving him a smirk, tugging him along. "You can't say no to me, after all."

"And trust me, I know you don't play fair. Makes it all the more fun."

"Dammit. I was hoping you would never realize that," he teased with a grin, nudging her back. "Here I was thinking my secret was safe, that I could protect myself and... Damn, you know I'm a sucker for you," he teased, giving her hand a squeeze.

"What's the point of fair when I win you?"

"Arthur, you really are a smooth talker, aren't you?" She asked, tugging him along. "I honestly think, you might know how to make anyone, shudder that, good shudder if you could. Which is yet another reason, why I love you."

"Years of experience, though I've never been more honest about it until I was talking to you." He smiled, watching her, loving her vitality. She was so utterly alive, living in the moment. It was what he'd first seen in her on the Fischer case.

"Yet you're one of the very few I would ever work that shudder magic on," he said, half teasing though serious in the few.

"Again, saying all you could say, to make me blush." She said, as she lifted his hand to her lips to kiss his knuckles.

"Very few though? Let is try one of two." She teased, as she looked up to the sky. Enjoying every second of this moment. "Anyway, where to first?"

"I do like that flush to your cheeks," he admitted, sighing at the silky touch of her lips to his hand. "Very charming."

He chuckled. "Given you two apparently talk about it, I will accept that there's two I make shudder. I will only swear to you."
