He didn't take long from that last text, wearing slacks and a shirt, unbuttoned at the top and sleeves partially rolled, as he came down to Ariadne's room and tapped on the door.

"You know, I find it comforting to know I have contact with you all the time. Do you think it weird when we text a room apart?"

"Some people." She mumbled, trailing her fingers along his hairline.

"True though." She smiled some, leaning in, kissing right below his jaw line. Only to lightly nip at the spot she kissed. "I'm the one that's suppose to tease."

"I know. Horrible beings," he said with a laugh, liking the easy way she touched him, the lightness of her fingers, and how much he himself needed contact with her.

A groan rumbled through him, shivering. "Every growl is a promise, Ariadne. You know that."

"Promises are always something you do well." She laughed slightly, trailing kisses down his neck. "But every growl, just has me wanting to do more."

"That isn't going to discourage me," he pointed out, running his fingers through her hair. He chuckled, carding his fingers through her hair. "There's something else for you to know. My first date? Honest to God date? I was eighteen."

She tilted her head back, brows raised. A look of surprise on her face. "Eighteen, really?"

That made him pause, considering his next words carefully. "Three months shy of my nineteenth birthday, actually. We dated for nearly four months but... Yeah. Eighteen."

"That is rather cute, Arthur." She smiled lightly, resting her head back down on her pillow to watch him. "What happened?" Because now, she was obviously curious as to his dating.

"Cute, huh? Didn't feel cute at the time," he admitted. "And obviously my dating habits have changed a bit over the years. As for she and I... She ended up dumping me for a friend I worked with. They were married for two years before she caught him in their bed with a call girl." He sighed. "You'll likely meet him when we go to Vegas."

"Oh. Well their loss is my gain." She said, a smile on her face. "And why would someone cheat on someone, I've never understood that part. Maybe that is just me. And I'm sure he is a nice man, but he still cheated." She hummed, tracing a pattern of circles into his chest. Obviously not a fan of cheating.

"Don't assume that. Not nice at all." He sighed at that, slumping slightly. "He was a bad kid and gotten worse with age. Why he cheated? Because he could. He's an aggressive, arrogant ass."

"So an ass." She nodded, brows raised, watching him. "And you think, we will run into him?"

"I think he'll look me up. We came up together," he noted with a half shrug. "He'll want to see what I've made of my life."

"And you are willing to talk to him, right?" She asked, sitting up slightly watching him. "Because, seriously you can avoid whatever you need to, you know that."

Arthur smirked. "Oh. I plan to talk to him. I plan to introduce you and Eames to him, smile sweetly and then walk away and enjoy our trip."

"I could go into details, about how you make me scream. If that helps with the jab at him." She teased, nose crinkled as she laughed lightly.

Arthur laughed, kissing the tip of her nose. "I won't encourage. Nor will I stop you," he noted, smiling.

"So he gets under your skin I see." She stated, lightly not meaning much to it. More an observation then anything. "You know, I will sell the wonders of Arthur, like it's no ones business."

He sighed, but nodded. "Yeah. He and I have never gotten on well. You know you don't need to do that, right? So long as you know it, I'm happy."

"I'm sorry. I've known a few people like that. Not much you can do, but just show them you could care less." She smiled, brushing the strand of hair out of his eyes. "And yeah, I know that. Doesn't mean, I don't want to brag about you, till the ends of the earth. To whomever would listen. You are worth that to me."

"Well, I may have made a point of mentioning to him I would be bringing my amazing girlfriend to see my hometown and I would be bringing the Phantom back with me. So I might well have taken advantage of things," he admitted with a grin.
